Reality is not a show.

Teresa and Joe Giudice, of the “New Jersey Housewives”, were sentenced to jail time.   Joe 41 months, Teresa 15 months, is this part of the show.  They were sentences to serve time, for obtaining millions of dollars and for hiding income and assets in 2009 when they file bankruptcy.

They opened up the front door of their house for the world to come in.  They let us watch as they work and they played each day.  They let us be a part of their family as they raised their children including watching as the children grew.  Joe appeared to be a hard-working man and Teresa seem to be the loving mother to her family.  Teresa worked hard taking care of her kids and the household.  She also worked at times to make money with her books, television appearance, and extra things for a buck.  Did they really have a jobs, that is the question about all the housewives, we see them attempting to make money, but work a real everyday job.  I thought they were making good money just being on a reality show, can this be part of the who?

I watch, “Young and Restless” the other day when everyone had been arrested for a bar fight.  On New Jersey Housewives, all the men and women on the show seem to be pretty rough, they are always showing someone on the fighting.  Mostly it is the gossip about each other, maybe that is it.  Is this payback for Teresa and Joe, something that they did to someone?  Joe works out and Teresa is rough, boy I would love to be a fly on the wall when they go to jail.  Will Theresa get to work in the jail kitchen? I heard there don’t have workout equipment at the jail, sorry Joe.  Would you want to be taped in a jail cell with visits from your children?

Reality shows they take your life and open it up for the world.  They show how you are living, making people with less want to do the same things that they are doing to live so well.  Now how many would want to go through what they are going through right now?  There is always something that is missing from the filming.  When the camera is off and they get into their bed, well they have shown them in bed a couple of times.

The reality that the perfect and exciting life; it must be great to be Teresa and Joe just ended.  The people who are on display in front of the camera are human.  They have to life just like we do and have to work to earn a living just like we do.   These reality shows, they only show a part and there is so much more missing.  They want you to see the happy ending to the show, but in reality I don’t know anyone that is living the way these people live on these shows.  Who wants to be on air fighting like cats and dogs.  My post picture of the happy family, not real life for them right now.  What their kids will have to go through is going to be a nightmare, but they are young.  But in reality kids today can and do  endure so much more.
