SLOW THE CLOCK, THERE ARE THINGS I NEED TO GET DONE.
Where does the time go? It is almost Christmas and then we will be moving into a new year. I look around and sometime I do not see many things that have changed over the last year, but I am sure they have. We must have run through 2014, because I know in a few weeks, it will be 2015. There is still time to complete something from your list if you can find it. A lot of people put to do list on outlook, but I am referring to that other visual list that you wrote down what you wanted to achieve. There is something about the thought process. I guess when you are looking at the day-to-day thing you don’t realized how quickly things are moving. The kids are growing up; people in your life are coming and going. The clock hand moved so did time.
I am a person who has a lot of goals. I like many would write them down before the New Year. I would plan what I want to get done for the year. You know the usual diet, exercise more, take a class, plan for a promotion in my job. And a long list of time I want to do to better myself. The funny thing is by the end of January, I can’t find the list or have forgotten the list. Then I proceed to write a new list of my goals for the year. When we set goal, the one thing, we don’t do is look back. A Thanksgiving my family stood around like a lot of family and said what they were thankful for. After God, some will say a job, or family, or what big accomplishment they have achieved over the year. At that time all that matter is what you have done, not what you haven’t done. I don’t know what the Christmas project will be looking like, or the country project will be looking like for the 2014. At the end of the month, we will hear all about it, as we say good-bye to 2014 and move into 2015. Have you ever heard anyone say, “I never thought I would see this year?” Did we just miss something? The fact that time is moving on, and we are going into a new year.
Everyone wants to do more than they did the year before, but there is still time to look around and see what little thing you can accomplish before this year is over. It time to clean up for the New Year.
A lot of people say, I don’t want to go into the next year in debt. Take on bill and pay it off.
Someone may say, I have a lot of problems. Take one that is simple first and go from there.
If you have a to-do list, like find a job. You could reevaluate the job market and look into classes.
The time is ticking, there is still time to achieve that goal for the new year. What I like to do is take the draws in the office and at home and clean them out. You would be surprised how that can make you feel, getting rid of things you don’t need.
I know you have a place where you can make a change before the new year.
