Has someone ever said to you, that you do not know? They may be correct about certain things, I am not a doctor or a lawyer. They have to type of responsibility that requires them to know. In fact, there are a lot of things I do not know about.
However, I know how to find out information that I may not know. There are always ways to get good information or advice.
RE: know, knowing, find out, ways to find out, How to get information, better understanding
I have had classes in law, and I have worked for a great number of lawyers. Does that mean I know all about the laws?
I may have study fashion and design, in college; I have designed many things. Does that make me a fashion designer?
I have gone to the gym and worked out, does that make me a coach? Could I apply to coach the San Diego Chargers?
When you use to go in the office of a doctor or lawyer, you would see their certification on the wall, showing that they are qualified to advise you on their specialty. There also would be lots of books for him to do research; now days most research is done on the computer. A doctor or lawyer can be sued for the advice they give. If you ask a doctor for medical advice, he will suggest you get examined; a lawyer would say he would need all the facts, before he can give any advice.
When I do not know something, I will usually ask questions, or research to get a better understanding. Part of getting the best result from anything you do, or want to accomplish is to:
1. When you are concerned or want a better understanding something, it is important to ask questions. I like to ask a lot of questions, so that you know if you have a clear understanding. On a job, it is important to take good notes, while you are being trained, and reiterate to make sure you understood correctly.
2. You can talk to people who may have done the same thing or gone through a similar process. They can give you some in sight to what to expect, and information that may help you along the way.
3. Do researching about the subject, will help you get an understanding of the process.
I may know some things and not others, in fact, there are things like sports I would never try to discuss; I just watch the game. One thing that I learned from going to college is how to research and study, it can help you to be more knowledgeable. I always say I am a work in progress, so I like to keep up with what is happening.
It is important to be informed, but knowing all the possibilities is another.
