I am big on making changes in life as you go through it. By do something different it can serve as the break you need from your daily route. You have to keep your mind open, so that you can see all the possibilities that are available.
I went to a seminar for house flipping this weekend. Pathway education had an event for Nicole Curtis, who does a show called Rehab Addict.
I have never worked in home restoring or real estate, I am a writer, or want to be one. I have many interests including house flipping. Restoring of anything is what I like, just as Nicole Curtis, it is a major interest of mine. I have gone to seminars on starting your own business, so they sent me notification for this one.
House flipping may be a little too much work then for me at the moment. Maybe if I was younger and did not have so many things that I am working on, I would have signed up for it. I am a believer if you were not good in school, why go to college do a trade school at least. They were having a three-day training on every part of buying and selling real estate.
I am getting ready to do an eight month, three days a week, computer programming course. I don’t know how I am going to fit it in my schedule, or how I will fit all my projects into the school schedule. There are some major issues that I am going to have to work through at the same time, including my first adventure on a cruise ship. Dedication and hard work has never been one of my short comings.
Nicole touch on some things that I have noticed also, that the next generation will have to be a lot more prepare. You will have to be flexible in the career choose, and of course work harder in the coming up years. Do you have any interest? Think about them as your next career. I am not able to do home restoration or real estate at the moment but who knows, after I complete my class what might come my way.
When you stop wanting to do things for you, your life can start to drag. You lose the excitement of having something to look forward to. Even if the opportunity was not for me at this moment, it opened my mind and refreshed my thought process.
