What is a vacation to you?

Dear friends,

I am tired today.  I have returned home from my first cruise on Carnival.  I had never sailed on a ship before so it was something new and an interesting change for me; an adventure. I will share my experience with you.  I said before heading off that there would be a story to tell.  It is always good to do different things; it is part of living.  That is how we grow.  I will share my experience with you.

Carnival Cruise

What is a vacation?

When you go on a vacation, what are you expecting? Most people want to see sites, have fun, or just have some time to relax.  Those are the things you have to consider when you choose your vacation spot.  What do you like to do, that will be the deciding factor when choosing the type of vacation?  Is it going to be for you or the family, that is a very important part of the plan?

Carnival Cruise ship has some pros and cons you have to consider.  As I was getting on the ship even in an off-season, the first things I had noticed was that a lot of people had children of all ages with them.  I am a family person, and I love going to places and seeing an experience through a child’s eyes.  While on board, there seem to be many activities where kids and adults would be in the same location.  However, there were kids in the different bar areas, in the casino, in the clubs, many places where adults were drinking.  Some of the adult look as if they should have been cut off,  I did not care for that around young kids.  Glasses with alcohol lying around, where any child can just pick them up in error and drink it.  Some had babies in the bar, and clubs, another turn off.

I did like seeing seniors on the cruise having fun, and was glad that I was able to take my mother for the experience also.

I really did not care for the staff, for own my personal reason, respect and good customer service is important to me.  I know some of the staff of ‪#‎carnival‬ Cruise ship were happy to see me get off the ship, the feeling is mutual.

They do have a lot activities for all ages, old and young.  It is nice to have choices of things to do, like live music, d.j., karaoke, comedy, and so much more to do.  There was lots of place to dance, and some quiet spots, if that is what you like.  The food and drinks there was lots most covered through your general cost.

Cashless is what Carnival Cruises it about, everything is paid with your card.  I like what was intent, you don’t pay cash for anything while on board.  However, be careful, when you have a group, i.e family and friends.  Swiping the card that you were provided it can be easy to lose track of the cost, which is another issue with Carnival.  You can not dispute all the charges if any, you are forced to pay the bill.  I was a first timer on a cruise ship and was not given any information up front, that is something else I notice.  Yes, I have a few issues with the staff.  I wasn’t the only one, there were a lot of unhappy people at the end of this cruise.  of my cruise.

When planning a vacation or a get-away you have to look at the fine print, do your homework, and be overly prepared when you are doing something that you have never done before.  It is like, “Buyer beware,” there will be hidden cost.  You and your family want to be in the right environment, and feel compatible with the cost at the end.

Relax you need it.

I do not consider myself as a great writer, but an avid dreamer, an artist, with a great vision of life. Being a writer is a new career for me, so there are so many things that I have to learn. I love learning things. I also love change and opening myself to new adventures. I have a lot of interests besides for romance, which is the type of book I am writing. I also love motivational and spiritual anything, i.e. angel. The things that help you when times are tough. Just like many I have experiences of good and bad times through life. Most of my life, even young as twelve I worked continuously, my last job, I retired after 25 years. Where I go in the future, who knows? I have Bachelors in Business, AA in Office Procedures, AS in Consumer and Family Studies, Diplomas in Legal and Fashion, among others. My first book that I have completed is a romance novel trilogy of about three sister, Olivia, Samantha and Maxie (Mommy's living dolls). Keep following me, I have something really special to tell you. I promise you will love it. My goal, "I am going to open up your heart" xoxo
